My 4 year old likes it and has had fun strumming it, riding it like a horse and whatever else runs through his head. It all plastic and pretty solid construction. The down side to this one is the metal strings, i tried tuning it to make it sound passable but it really isn't possible to get anywhere to the right pitch. Wish they came with the better strings.
